Basic Overview Account Management
  • How do I create an account?
  • Click on the “Sign Up” button in the top right corner of any page. Enter your name, email address and a desired password for full access to all of our templates and features.
  • Why do you need my name and email address before I can edit a template?
  • Your name and email address will be used to set up your FREE MyCreativeShop account. By giving us this information, your free account will give you FULL access to all of the features at MyCreativeShop including the ability to save your work in progress until you are ready to make a purchase.
  • How do I access my designs once I start customizing them?
  • Log in to your account by clicking on the “Log In” button in the top right corner of any page. Once logged in, click on “My Designs” for a list of the templates you are currently working on.
  • How long will you store my designs that are being customized?
  • We will store your designs for a minimum of 2 years since your last log-in. Before we would remove any designs a series of notification emails would be sent reminding you to log in if you want us to preserve your designs.
  • What kind of customer support do you offer?
  • We offer 3 ways of contacting us for customer support and take pride in resolving all issues within 24 hours. For immediate feedback, start an online chat with one of our representatives. You may also request a call back or send an email to support@mycreativeshop.com.
  • How do I change my password?
  • Log in to your account by clicking on the “Log In” button in the top right corner of any page. Once logged in, click on “My Account” to change your contact information.
Purchasing Templates Template Customization
  • Do I need professional graphic design software to edit your templates?
  • No. All you need is an internet connection! MyCreativeShop is the easiest tool for designing marketing materials because you don't need to purchase or install any software on your computer. If you have basic computer skills, you'll be able to completely customize any template in our library. You don't have to be a Fortune 500 corporation to look like one!
  • I'm not proficient on a computer, can you do the design for me?
  • We think you'll find our editing tool so easy that anyone can use it. If you can't get the results you want, or simply don't want to take the time, please contact us to arrange a custom design by our professional graphic designers.
  • How long does it take to customize a template?
  • You can be ready in minutes! Customize your template as much, or as little as you like!
  • How do I move from one area to the next?
  • Press the “area arrows” (on the left side of the editor) to move forward or back through the document.
  • How do I move from one page to the next?
  • Press the “page arrows” (on the left side of the editor) to move forward or back through the document.
  • How do I make the template larger, so I can see details?
  • Use the vertical sliding button on the left side of the editor. Slide up (or click +) to make the piece larger and get more detail. Slide down (or click -) to make the piece smaller and get a view of the entire piece in one shot.
  • Can I change or edit images in the template?
  • Yes. Our templates are all professionally designed with the highest quality graphics and photos but you can also add and edit your own images instead.
  • Can I re-size your brochures?
  • No. All of our templates are locked at the overall size of that particular piece. However, you can resize images and text blocks within the template.
  • Why is there a foreign language in some of the brochures?
  • We use filler text (Lorem ipsum) to give you an idea of what the piece will look like once you enter you're own information. We use a recommended font and size but you are welcome to select and edit the text however you prefer.
  • Can I upload, manage and crop my own photos?
  • Yes. You can upload photos or images from your computer to MyCreativeShop. Once imported, you can resize, crop and edit the photos so they fit correctly in your template.
  • How do I add clip art or images from the internet in my template?
  • Within the editor, click the “Insert Image” icon on the right side of the toolbar. Once the new window opens, create a folder to keep your photos organized, select/add photos and images that you have saved on your computer and then click upload to place them in the editor.
  • Do you have free stock images and photography available?
  • Yes. All templates are pre-filled with the highest quality images, but we realize that sometimes you need something a little more specific to your needs so we provide access to a stock photo library complete with over 1,000 images.   • Why does the photo/image I cut and pasted from a website look blurry?
  • Web graphics (displayed on your computer monitor) are much lower quality and will often appear blurry and pixelated when used in print. For the best quality, use the stock photography provided by MyCreativeShop or try images from online resources like www.sxc.hu and www.istockphoto.com.
  • When I resize a photo, it gets stretched out and looks funny. How do I prevent this?
  • If you want to resize without stretching the image, always resize it by clicking, holding and pulling from a corner. If you want to stretch the image pull from the middle of the side you want to move.
  • How do I rotate a photo or image?
  • After selecting an image, click and hold the single dot on the outside of the right edge. While holding your mouse button down, drag the dot to rotate the image.
  • Why does it say my photo is low res?
  • Most likely, your photo was is not big enough or you have taken a low resolution image from a website. If you're using a photo from a camera, make sure you saved it as a high quality image (anything less than a file size of 1MB will most likely be low resolution. Web graphics (displayed on your computer monitor) are also much lower quality and will often appear blurry and pixelated when used in print. For the best quality, use the stock photography provided by MyCreativeShop or try images from online resources like www.sxc.hu and www.istockphoto.com.
  • Why are there two sets of lines around the border of the designs?
  • In order to print color or images to the edge of your printed piece, you need to include “bleed”. In order to bleed, the image needs to extend beyond the edge of the printed sheet and then the sheet is trimmed to make a consistent, solid edge. In order to make sure your images and colors “bleed” off the edge of the page, make sure all images extend to the outer line bordering each template. Please note: images within the 1/8” area around the outside of each template will not be displayed on your finished piece.

  • How do I select and edit text?
  • Click on the text you want to select and make sure that it becomes highlighted. Another option to select the area is to press the “next area” button on the left side of the editor until the area you want to edit is highlighted. Once the correct area is highlighted, double click on the text to type or use the tools at the top of the editor to change colors, fonts, sizes and other formatting.
  • How can I resize a text box, so it holds more information?
  • Simply click and hold the edge that you want to extend. Pulling on one side will only move that side and pulling on a corner will extend the two sides connected to that corner.
  • Oops, I made a mistake how do I undo my edits?
  • Don't worry, you can reverse changes by clicking the “undo” button in the toolbar at the top of the editor. Keep clicking to go back, step by step, each time undoing the previous edit.
  • Why does some of my text or image get cut off when I move it to a different place?
  • Each area of the template is pre-formatted to look professional and get results. Some areas are “locked” so you can't put text or images in areas that would be detrimental to the look or would be hidden by folding or other images. If you try dragging a photo or text to an area and it gets cut off, press the “undo” button or drag the image/text back to a point where it is visible again.
  • How do I get my design to print on both sides of the sheet?
  • All of the templates at MyCreativeShop are pre-formatted for printing on both sides (where applicable). Simply press the “next page” button within the editor and make your customizations...we'll take care of the rest! As always we recommend printing with MyCreativeShop to ensure your marketing materials align perfectly on both sides of the sheet.
  • Which panel folds in on a trifold brochure?
  • When viewing page 1 (the front and back cover) the left panel will fold in first. When viewing page 2 (the inside of the brochure) the right panel folds in first.
  • Why doesn't the color on the proof I printed match what's on my screen?
  • Colors displayed on a computer screen cover a different color gamut and could display slightly different than when printed on paper. Most home or office printers are not capable of printing the exceptional quality output on professional printing presses. We highly recommend printing with MyCreativeShop, to ensure your colors match as closely as possible. While every computer monitor is slightly different we're confident that your finished printed piece will contain pleasing color.
Printing and File Output
  • How do I order prints?
  • Log in to your account by clicking on the “Log In” button in the top right corner of any page. Once logged in you will see all of your projects. Click on the design you want to print and then click “Order”.
  • What format is the file that I will receive?
  • If you choose to handle your own printing, we will supply you with a print-ready pdf file. A pdf is industry standard and all printing companies will be able to easily use this type of file. You can also print a pdf file easily, at home, on your own printer.
  • Do I have to print my marketing materials with MyCreativeShop?
  • No. We highly recommend that you print with us but we also give you the option to download a print-ready file and print on your own. Please note: we cannot guarantee colors or quality if you choose to print on your own.
  • How long does it take to receive my printed order?
  • Most orders are delivered to you within 5-7 business days. We also offer expedited, overnight and 2-day production and shipping options. Our nationwide network of printing facilities will produce your order in the most efficient way possible.
  • Can you ship to PO boxes?
  • No. All orders are shipped via UPS or FedEx and must be shipped to actual street addresses.
  • Why doesn't the color of my finished printed piece exactly match what is on my screen.

  • Are there any other fees in addition to the purchase price?
  • No. The cost to purchase a design template is exactly what you see. If you choose to print with MyCreativeShop, you will be given production and shipping options that will add to your overall cost, but will be clearly explained.
  • Do I need to pay before I start customizing?
  • No. We want you to know exactly what your finished template will look like before you purchase it. Take as much time as you need to make your template perfect and save your work along the way. We don't like surprises and you shouldn't either!
  • How do I pay?
  • Our HTTPS secure ordering system is protected by 128 bit encryption to keep your personal information safe and secure! We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express for your convenience.
  • What is your refund policy?
  • We offer an iron-clad satisfaction guarantee. If you are not happy with your design template within 7 days of purchase, we will refund 100% of the design template cost.
  • What credit cards do you accept?
  • Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express.
  • Do you accept currency other than US Dollars?
  • No, all purchases must be made using US Dollars.
  • How much do your templates cost?
  • Pricing varies based on the type of template you are customizing and whether or not you print with MyCreativeShop. When searching, each template is clearly marked with the cost. Template costs are slightly higher if you choose not to print with MyCreativeShop.
  • Another website has free templates, why should I pay for yours?
  • For a reasonable price, we've taken all the guess work out of designing quality marketing materials. We walk you step by step through the process and when you're finished you'll have a professionally designed piece that will get you results! Can you really afford to spend countless hours using a free option that might do more harm than good to your image?
  • Can I purchase designs in bulk, for greater savings?
